A Letter From Our President

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all of you to our 149th Howick-Turnberry Fall Fair.

The Theme of our fair this year is “Country Harvest”. How appropriate and meaningful for our community to carry out such a theme! To harvest – is to gather.

I would like to send a huge thanks to all the dedicated volunteers that make this astounding fair possible. Without the fair committees, directors and especially our secretary/treasurer, Marion Feldskov, this event would never happen.

Also thank you to all the generous businesses and individuals who donate money and gifts for the prizes received by our exhibitors and also for the Chinese auction.

Last but certainly not least, how could a fair take place without all the exhibitors? Their creativity and timeconsuming entries truly make the fair. Thanks to all of you.

I hope each of you enjoy the many activities this 149th fair has to offer. There’s something for everyone – from the young to the young at heart!
